Finance Business Partner
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + bonus & benefits
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role within a growing commercial finance team, focused on strengthening business partnering and improving how financial insight drives decisions.
You'll work with a large, complex cost base, helping to bring greater control, visibility and challenge to spend, while elevating the quality of reporting and analysis.
The Role
A hands-on, commercially focused position where you'll turn data into insight and influence how money is spent.
Key areas include:
Acting as a trusted partner to operational stakeholders, providing support and constructive challenge
Managing and forecasting a significant cost base (£100m+)
Improving reporting to deliver clearer, more actionable insight
Extracting and analysing data from internal systems (including Excel-based reporting)
Supporting both backward-looking performance reviews and forward planning
Building models and identifying trends to drive better decision-making
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with post-qualified experience
Strong commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge
Analytical, curious and comfortable working with large data sets
Able to influence non-finance stakeholders and build relationships quickly
Experience in multi-site or operational environments is beneficial

Hybrid working (c. 50/50 split)
£55,000 - £60,000 salary
