Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our longstanding and established team at Cliffe Veterinary Group. The workload is equally shared covering consults, surgeries and the three branches to offer full clinical exposure and a varied working day. This is an opportunity to work amongst a supportive and encouraging team and to live and work in the beautiful South Downs.
We are committed to developing our employees and would endorse and support certificates and further postgraduate study if you have a chosen interest. Helping to teach and mentor our newer graduates is an important part of the role, therefore we are looking for a vet with at least four years of experience. A desire to consult and operate is preferred and a driving licence is necessary to travel between the local practices. There is no out-of-hours on call but some weekend consults and inpatient care will be required on a rota basis. We believe in providing a stable work–life balance, so following a weekend on call, you will have a 3.5 day working week.
