Cable Assembler Temp to Perm Opportunities
Location: Stonehouse Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (review after 12 weeks or in April in line with minimum wage changes) Contract: 12-week Temp to Perm Working Hours:
MondayThursday: 07:3016:15
Friday: 07:3012:15
Breaks: 15-minute lunch + two 10-minute breaks (around 10:00 and 15:00)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Cable Assemblers to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves assembling a variety of cable products using both hand tools and machinery. Youll be working from written instructions and customer drawings, ensuring each build meets the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble cables, looms, and harnesses to customer specifications
Carry out hand and machine crimping
Follow written work instructions and customer drawings accurately
Perform basic inspection and quality checks
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
Skills & Experience
Previous cable assembly experience is beneficial but not essential
Soldering skills are an advantage but not required
Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
