A Vacancy at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Applications are invited for a Consultant Anaesthetist with a major subspecialist interest in Trauma Anaesthesia.

Work Environment
The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals. The appointee will take their share of clinical responsibilities within the Department of Anaesthesia, including provision for peri‑operative assessment clinics where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide anaesthesia for adult patients in all specialties as appropriate to their training and experience.
* Provide anaesthesia for trauma cases, with a major subspecialist interest in Trauma Anaesthesia.
* Provide peri‑operative assessment clinics as required.
* Deliver service on several hospital sites across the Group, depending on service needs.
* Manage an on‑call commitment of approximately 1:20 for emergency cover.
* Participate in the Trust’s Clinical Governance programme, including clinical audit, quality improvement, guideline development, professional development, appraisal and risk management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Full GMC registration and licence to practise.
