You will be responsible for performing both face-to-face and remote assessments, compiling factual evidence, and creating concise evidence-based medical reports to support decision-making for the Northern Ireland Department for Communities (NIDfC). You will benefit from a comprehensive induction and training program providing over 100 CPD hours in your first three months, ensuring you are well-prepared for your role. This full-time weekday position (37.5 hours - Monday to Friday) offers a competitive salary ranging from £38,500 to £39,500, along with excellent benefits and the potential for higher overtime ratesa. What Youll be doing : Conduct telephone assessments and face-to-face functional assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions. Compile clear, concise and factual medical reports - no treatment or diagnosis required. Collaborate with regional managers and administrators to meet service level agreements. What Were Looking for : One year's post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). A professional, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset. Willingness to undergo BPSS security clearance.
