About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support 1:1 with a student who requires extra support. This may be with a KS1 or KS2 student, so we are looking for candidates who are flexible.
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £92.63 a day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday
To be considered you must obtain an enhanced child only DBS and provide two contact references.
A number of primary schools based in the Winchester area are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible, we have temporary and permanent positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting individual pupil/s inside and out of the classroom
* Assisting with classroom activities and resources
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting pupils with additional needs to develop emotional and academically
* Assisting with organising and tidying the classroom when necessary
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with primary children (KS1 – KS2)
* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Experience supporting SEN children is desired but not essential
* A genuine passion for helping children learn and grow
* Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles (CPD training provided)
