Overview

#TeamNNUH are recruiting for Senior Cardiac Physiologists to join our busy team in Technical Cardiology. As a result of a recent £15 million spend on our Interventional Radiology Unit (IRU) and a complete refurbishment of the Cardiac catheter labs, the department is going from strength to strength. We are seeking dedicated individuals who have the ability to communicate in a personable, approachable and respectful manner to staff and patients. As a department, people are at the heart of what we do. Working predominantly within our dedicated Cardiac cath labs, within Cardiology Outpatients, you will work as part of a team which delivered over 6000 procedures last year. Working alongside our Senior Cardiac Physiologists, our Chief Physiologists and a team of 23 Consultant Cardiologists, you will play a pivotal role in the care of our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to come and join us and be part of a department which delivers some of the most advanced Cardiology services in the country.

We cover a range of services including our acute cardiology ward, angiography suite and our coronary care unit which is the PPCI Centre for Norfolk. We have a large non-invasive workload including Ambulatory monitoring, pacemaker and loop recorder follow-up and echocardiography (TTE, TOE, stress echo and congenital heart disease).

We are a friendly, collaborative hospital, working with local services and home to N&N Hospitals Charity. The NNUH is one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK, providing first-class acute care for around one million people, living in Norfolk and surrounding areas. We are a teaching and research hospital, at the forefront of innovation, home to state-of-the-art facilities, such as the Quadram Institute. We are pleased to work closely with the University of East Anglia, providing teaching opportunities for our staff and placement opportunities for their students. We attract some of the best and leading professionals from across the country and are proud that our workforce represents 94 countries from across the world. We can offer you the full range of NHS benefits/discounts and in addition includes:
