As Community Engagement Co-ordinator, you’ll develop and deliver our community engagement priorities across Moseley Old Hall and Wightwick Manor and Gardens. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and communities to ensure our work is shaped by local voices and delivers meaningful public benefit. This is a dynamic and impactful role, helping us connect more people with nature, heritage and place. You'll be required to work weekends and bank holidays on a rolling basis, and there will likely be some evening work. What it's like to work here This is an exciting time to join us. You’ll help shape plans that connect communities with nature and heritage, creating experiences that are meaningful and inclusive. You’ll also focus on reaching audiences beyond our places, where partnership working will be key. What you'll be doing You’ll take a people-first approach, putting the needs and voices of communities at the heart of our plans. You’ll build trusted relationships, develop partnerships, and support colleagues to work more collaboratively with communities. You’ll champion inclusive engagement, remove barriers to access, and test new approaches to participation. Your work will help shape how the National Trust delivers public benefit and inspires civic action. Based at Moseley Old Hall but working across both Moseley Old Hall and Wightwick Manor, you'll help deliver different approaches to community dependent on their ambitions and needs. You'll be part of a team of Community Engagement Co-ordinators in the portfolio, and work closely with the Ranger team and Visitor Experience team, alongside property staff and volunteers. You'll need to have strong organisational skills to prioritise and deliver work across these two properties, and a positive and open communication style to engage and work with a broad range of people - community members, partners, NT colleagues and volunteers. You'll be part of a Duty Management rota. You'll be responsible on the day for the smooth running of the property during opening hours, acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and customers in case of emergency, enquiry or complaint.
