We are excitedly looking for a DT Teacher to join one of our secondary schools in Liverpool.
We are looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status: QTS, ECT, or equivalent.
* Someone with knowledge in Resistant Materials, Systems, or Product Design.
* Strong classroom management skills to keep the workshop focused.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing ).
Key Duties:
* Deliver high:quality DT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Manage and maintain all workshop machinery, tools, and CAD/CAM equipment.
* Inspire students to solve real:world problems through innovative design.
* Ensure every lesson follows strict Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback that builds confidence.
* Prepare students for success in their GCSE and vocational practical exams.
* Collaborate with the department to refresh and modernise the curriculum.
* Foster a tidy, respectful, and high:functioning environment for all makers.
