Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Driving Consultant to join our successful and growing team in our Glasgow office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated recruitment professional with a passion for the driving sector to take the next step in their career.
Location: Glasgow
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) + excellent bonus and benefits
The Role
As a Senior Driving Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and managing your own desk, specialising in the recruitment of HGV drivers across a range of clients. You will be responsible for delivering a first-class recruitment service while building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Building, developing and managing a profitable driving recruitment desk
* Recruiting, onboarding and managing HGV drivers
* Proactively winning new business and maintaining existing client relationships
* Managing the full recruitment lifecycle – from advertising and interviewing to placement and aftercare
* Ensuring compliance with driving regulations and recruitment standards
* Providing an exceptional service to both clients and candidates
About You
* Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within driving, logistics or industrial sectors
* Strong knowledge of HGV driver recruitment and compliance
* A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
* Target-driven, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Passionate about delivering high-quality service and results
