Typical day: You will complete eye examinations, contact‑lens and extended service examinations, support colleagues with training and coaching, and maintain departmental standards. Due to our NHS contracts, you will also manage eye‑condition treatment and monitoring, and we support any additional accreditations you may need.
Qualifications
* A fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
* A registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
* MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months – funded and supported by Asda)
* On track to meet statutory CPD points requirement
* Passionate about developing new patient services and shaping department culture
* Evidence of Right To Work in the UK, NHS performer list, and two clinical references
