Overview
We are looking for two Live-in carers from 16 February.
Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and wheelchair support.
* The patient has upper body strength still so there is no hoist needed.
* Support the client’s independence by accompanying them on shopping trips and swimming outings (no need to enter the pool).
* Provide companionship, ensuring clear communication by maintaining eye contact and allowing time for responses.
* Maintain a clean and organized home and help with indoor plant care.
* Engage in creative activities—the client was an artist and may appreciate help handling painting materials in their home studio.
Requirements
* Must be patient, proactive, and able to follow instructions well.
* Able to communicate clearly in English and respect the client’s preferred way of interaction.
* Experience with acquired brain injury care is a plus.
* A driver with their own car is preferred but not essential.
Salary
Salary £120 per day. (or upon agreement)
