We have an exciting opportunity for Specialist Speech and Language Therapists to join our client’s team, working with individuals who have complex speech, language, communication, and dysphagia needs.\n\nAs a valued member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in empowering service users through tailored interventions such as AAC, Intensive Interaction, and Sensory Programs. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated group of professionals committed to delivering best practices and shaping services to meet evolving needs.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nClinical\n\n * Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions in collaboration with service users, families, carers, and external agencies.\n\n * Conduct autonomous assessments of speech, language, and communication needs to inform placement decisions.\n\n * Manage all aspects of a caseload following comprehensive assessments.\n\n * Produce detailed reports outlining service users' needs, progress, and future management plans.\n\n * Maintain a working knowledge of legislation related to autistic adults, adults with learning disabilities, and those with cerebral palsy.\n\n * Communicate complex information effectively to service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.\n\nOrganisational\n\n * Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines for reports and administrative tasks.\n\n * Prioritise workload and caseload to ensure effective service delivery.\n\n * Provide tailored training and guidance for carers, staff, and relevant stakeholders to enhance their knowledge and maintain high care standards.\n\n * Supervise and review therapy interventions implemented by carers, assistants, or staff.\n\n * Maintain a comprehensive CPD portfolio in line with RCSLT and HCPC requirements.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * Qualifications: HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist (Bands 5 and 6).\n\n * Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with complex needs and their families.\n\n * Desirable Expertise: Specialisation in dysphagia is highly advantageous.\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nYou’ll have the opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team, shape services to meet changing needs, and make a lasting impact on the lives of service users and their families.\n\nIf you’re ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to a service that values professional excellence and compassionate care, we’d love to hear from you
