Responsibilities:
Overseeing every day running of the business (helping co run: head office, Salisbury)
•- Ensuring each site hits their weekly output target Sal:30 Ext:25 as a minimum.
Maximising profitability
• - ensure all sublet invoices are charged out and ensuring we supp all invoices and addition labour.
Managing staff
• - keep moral and ensure each staff member is performing in their role.
Controlling training
•- every two years we renew staff qualifications; you will arrange this. Ensure all new starters are fully adapted.
Controlling health & safety
•- ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times.

• brining new staff into the business.
Appraisals
• - every six months do a review with all staff.
Mainly your csa will so this; Liaising with customers by phone and in person
•- it is imperative all our customers are up to date with the repair process.
Setting up job cards with quality check sheets added
•- ensure managers are completing this accurately, ensure nothing is missed ie- tyres, geo, wheel referbs.
Allocate work to productive staff
•- ensure each member of staff are expressing their skill set to ensure weekly numbers are met. Ie working on more than one car at a time, very small repairs Stright to paint shop ie Fastlane.
Quality check repairs and Final Quality Control
•- again imperative every repair goes out the door faultless and absolute minimum reworks - first time repair is key.
Daily update of customer contact list for reception staff
•- ensure we are updating the clients profile on BMS with accurate information.
Arrange sub-contract work on or off-site
•- tyres, geos, aircon, windscreen, suspension work and we must check their work and sign off on qc sheet and ensure we are charging for their services on the jobs.
Liaise with estimators if extra work required maximising profitability.
Checking correct welding/repair methods are being used
•- have they done a peel test when wielding, updated quality sheet with date of bonding used.
Update customers with repair status if requested
•- all customer must get a regular every other day update. On or off site vehicles.
Liaising with other departments
•- you will oversee all departments of the business.
Give maximum customer care throughout
•- ensure we provide exquisite care to customer and insurers look at the google reviews they speak for them Selfs.
Dealing with engineers and auditors if required
•- we often have inspections with vehicle engineers and auditors for our bsi accreditation which all must go true and accurate.
Updating reception of any changes and workshop capacity
•- ensure all front of house have a clear objective and check their work to ensure nothing is missed. I.e new claims, new authorities, have they updated all customers.
Update communication log on management system
•- update notes for each job on BMS ensure all front of house are doing this.
Dealing with customers face to face
• - deliver exceptional service to my clients.
Arranging courtesy vehicles
•- ensure we have enough loan vehicles for clients and Bodyshop collections with cc are collected no later than five working days of FNOL.
Arranging collection/delivery of vehicles
•- ensure we collect all booked in jobs and each site delivers minimum of 5 each day.
Cost Control
• you must do a cost analysis across to the business see where we can reduce the overheads, arrange a better deal with all suppliers. Ensure we reduce the materials used and take better care and utilisation.
* Invoiocing - Ensure all invoocing is done within avg of 5 days from vehicles leaving site.
* Chase up debters list - ensure all invoices are settled.
•Liase with accountants monthly
•Pay all our sublet invoices and rent (when due) by no later than 19th each month.

Consulting with all other departments, to keep the workshop flowing at all times. Customer care and profitability is most important in this role and must be sustained at all times.
