Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Fareham. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, starting in September 2026.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils in the classroom, providing both one-to-one and small group assistance. You will play a key role in helping children particularly those with additional needs—access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
* Assist in the delivery of engaging and accessible lessons
* Support children with additional needs, including SEN
* Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
About You:
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
* Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
