You will help pupils access learning, build routines, and develop regulation and communication skills, while working closely with teachers and wider support staff to deliver consistent, structured support.The Role
* You will provide 1:1 and small group academic support across core subjects, matched to pupil needs.
* You will help pupils regulate, stay engaged, and access learning through calm, consistent routines.
* You will deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy to close gaps and build confidence.
* You will support behaviour for learning using agreed strategies, clear boundaries, and de-escalation.
* You will adapt tasks so pupils can succeed without lowering expectations.
* You will track progress and share clear feedback with teachers and the wider support team.
* You will follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times and report concerns immediately.
The Candidate
* You will have a 2:2 degree or above in Psychology (or a closely related subject).
* You will have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
* You will be calm, patient, and consistent, especially when behaviour is challenging.
* You will communicate clearly and keep strong professional boundaries.
* You will be reliable, proactive, and comfortable following support plans consistently.
* You will have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or you will be willing to obtain one.
