Production Operative - Sawmill ARC is currently seeking a Production Operative for ongoing work at a sawmill in Stratton Strawless. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy team with potential for long-term employment. The Role As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in maintaining a tidy and efficient wood yard. Your responsibilities will include: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Friday Keeping the yard clean and organised Moving wood fence panels and posts Loading finished products onto vehicles Learning to operate cutting machinery (full training provided) You will need your own transport due to client location This is a Monday to Friday position. Pay Rate PAYE: £12.21 per hour PAYE (Annualised Holiday Pay): £13.68 per hour About You While previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred, it's not essential as full on-site training will be given. We're looking for someone who is: Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects Reliable and hardworking Possesses good attention to detail Has a willingness to learn new skills Please note: Due to the client's location, your own transport is essential.
