In this High School Kitchen, you would be responsible for all activities in a larger, high-volume kitchen and its surrounds, connected with the provision of a catering service which include satellite services. Co-ordinating the activities of staff working within the catering environment. Supervising staff working in the kitchen. You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork and electronic returns are completed and submitted accordingly and on time. Competent in using IT systems including cashless purchase system, email, payroll system and council software. Understanding dietary and nutritional needs. Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround. We currently have a temporary vacancy to join our team in Dunfermline: Queen Anne High School, Dunfermline - 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 2:30pm on a 39-week contract. This post is temporary for 1 year. You will earn a competitive salary of £27,087.17 to £29,508.69 pro -rata and have access to a range of benefits, including: £14.43 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).
