Traffic Orders Specialist/GIS officer Location: Company: Marston Holdings The Role We are looking for a Traffic Orders Specialist / GIS Officer to join our Parking team, supporting the Senior Traffic Order Consultant in delivering high quality traffic order with associated mapping systems and parking projects for both local authority and private sector clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in traffic orders, GIS and parking schemes to contribute to meaningful projects that improve transport management and public services across the UK. Key Responsibilities Provide technical advice to clients and internal stakeholders Draft accurate and compliant traffic orders across a range of schemes Using map based systems to support traffic and parking schemes Update and review map based traffic order systems for local authorities Manage smaller traffic order projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales and budgets Support project financial tracking and monthly reviews Maintain project documentation in line with quality assurance standards Support the development of team members, including apprentices and graduates Produce clear and concise research summaries About You Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience Strong understanding of traffic order procedures, parking regulations and traffic management principles Proven experience drafting traffic orders within a local authority or consultancy environment Experience using map based traffic order systems Able to manage your own workload and deliver to deadlines Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues Desirable Membership of a relevant professional body such as MICE, MBPA or MCIHT GIS traffic order software experience preferences or other TMO related software experience beneficial.
