Overview
As a member of the Communications Team, the post holder will undertake a variety of roles related to NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) communications channels and work with colleagues from across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce and edit content for NWSSP’s internet and intranet pages.
* Design and produce brochures, reports, newsletters, leaflets and posters within branding guidelines, ensuring compliance with Welsh Language Standards, W3C web standards and information governance.
* Monitor and develop NWSSP’s social media channels, capturing news across divisions and developing ideas for content and campaigns.
* Write and edit copy for internal documents, ensuring clarity, relevance and accuracy for staff and customers, and manage webpage hierarchy where necessary.
* Deliver communications training to less experienced employees, ensuring resources are up‑to‑date.
* Collaborate with the Communications Manager and Digital Communications Manager to produce video and photographic material.
* Provide communications support at events, alone or with Team colleagues.
* Handle sensitive information appropriately, ensuring public content is suitable for publishing.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
