Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a truly attractive opportunity for a professional and experienced full-time Nanny/Housekeeper to join a warm, welcoming, and well-organised private household based in South Oxfordshire. The family, comprising two adults and two young children, are seeking a reliable, discreet, and nurturing individual who will become an integral part of their daily routine and provide consistent, high-quality support within the home. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and carries a highly competitive salary of up to £50,000 gross per annum, depending on experience. This is a balanced role, with an even division between childcare and housekeeping responsibilities. The household benefits from the support of a part-time housekeeper; however, the successful candidate will be expected to adopt a flexible and proactive approach, increasing their involvement in housekeeping duties when required, particularly during the housekeeper’s absence, as well as naturally taking on a greater share of these responsibilities as the children grow older. Housekeeping within the property will involve the delivery of a high standard of classical domestic care, including the thorough cleaning and upkeep of bathrooms, regular dusting and vacuuming, floor care, and the management of laundry and ironing. The home is well maintained, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms currently in regular use, and it is important to note that wardrobe management is not required. The family is committed to a natural lifestyle and exclusively uses natural cleaning products, therefore the candidate must be comfortable working in line with this preference. The childcare aspect of the role requires a candidate with solid experience caring for toddlers, who is confident in supporting their development in a calm, structured, and engaging manner. The successful individual will ensure the children are consistently well cared for, appropriately presented, and positively stimulated throughout the day. This will include overseeing mealtimes, maintaining established routines, planning and implementing age-appropriate and educational activities, and encouraging outdoor play. Cooking also forms an integral part of the position. The candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children and will also be expected to provide thoughtful and efficient assistance to the mother in the kitchen when meals are prepared for the family, including tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables and general food preparation. This role presents an excellent long-term opportunity for a dedicated and adaptable professional who is seeking stability within a respectful and appreciative household environment. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Russian would be considered a distinct advantage. Driving is not required for the role, aside from the candidate’s own commute.
