Job Summary
£12.85 per hour, Barrow‑In‑Furness, Cumbria. Full-Time or Part-Time (37.5 or 22.5 hours per week on a flexible rota).
We are looking for a caring support worker to help adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities live independently. You will visit service users in their homes or other settings, assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, appointments, medication and money management, while also providing emotional support in line with their individual support plans.
Responsibilities
* Visit service users in their homes or other settings.
* Provide practical support to enable independent living.
* Assist with daily living tasks: cooking, appointments, medication, money management.
* Offer emotional support following individual support plans.
* Work independently using personal initiative.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Car driver and car owner (or access to a vehicle); mileage allowance paid.
* Ability to work independently on a flexible rota.
