Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting an experienced CNC Turner for our client based in Milton Keynes for a permanent role.
Monday to Friday | Permanent | 07:30 - 16:30 | £32,000 - £36,000
What You'll Be Doing
* Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling, including Y Axis, to perform tasks such as milling and turning.
* Operate CNC machines to produce precision components from customer-supplied drawings and data.
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
* Program CNC machines.
* Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
What's In It For You
* £32,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* Monday to Friday

What We're Looking For
* Experience as a CNC Turner.
* Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
* Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
* Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
