Walking Mobile Electrical Engineer – City of London (FM Sector) A leading Facilities Management provider is recruiting a Walking Mobile Electrical Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial buildings across the City of London. This role is suited to an electrically biased engineer who values variety, autonomy, and working within a clearly defined walking route in a prime commercial location. The Role The Walking Mobile Electrical Engineer will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites. The role is predominantly electrical, with additional involvement in basic mechanical systems and general building maintenance. Working independently, the engineer will manage their daily workload while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and service delivery. This position offers a balance of technical work, site variety, and responsibility, without the need for driving between locations. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings. Fault find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and small power.
