Female Support Worker - Make a Difference in ST7!
Location: ST7 (Just a 6 minute drive from Kidsgrove Train Station)
54 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Position: Full-Time (37.We're looking for a Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team in ST7, supporting a vibrant lady in her 50s who is independent, social, and full of personality.

You'll be supporting an extravagant and determined lady with a learning disability, who knows what she wants and loves to live life to the fullest. She thrives on routine and enjoys building relationships with those around her. Animal Lover - She adores animals and enjoys spending time with them.
Fitness Enthusiast - Regular gym sessions and even a fun game of crazy golf are part of her routine.
Social Butterfly - She loves eating out in the community, watching soap operas, and taking an annual holiday across the UK.
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in empowering her to live independently and enjoy life to the fullest. Daily Support: Providing verbal prompts to assist with her daily routines and personal care.
Routine Management: Helping her maintain her structured routine, including meal prep, medication administration, and community outings.
Building Relationships: Supporting her in the gym, on day trips, during meals out, and on her annual holiday.
Behavioural Support: You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.
Shift Patterns
Day Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm / 8:00am - 6:00pm / 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Sleep-In Shifts: 11:00pm - 7:00am (2-3 per week)
Long Day Shifts: 7:00am - 11:00pm
Shifts might be flexible to accommodate the individual's active lifestyle. A fair split of weekend shifts is required. Rotas are provided in advance to support your work-life balance.
