We are recruiting for 4 positions in our reception/ security.

This role is geared towards the day shift, and will therefore be mainly keeping a track of visitors to the site, flagging any issues, and some administrative work.

The site is a lovely private estate, a lovely location, a good team, and the family is a pleasure to work for. It is a great opportunity for the right person.

About the Role

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all visitors and guests to the site, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment while supporting the operational and business development needs of the estate. This dynamic role requires professionalism, strong organisational skills, discretion, and a proactive approach to contributing to the estate's success.

The site is a beautiful estate in the Cotswolds near Woodstock.

The estate is in development still, with rewilding and reforesting projects ongoing, and a tree nursery on site. The estate also offers tree planting and maintenance services externally.

Key Responsibilities

· Welcoming Visitors: Greet all guests, staff, and contractors in a warm and professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and appropriately directed upon arrival.

· Maintaining Site Log: Accurately record every entry and exit to the site, including times, names, and purpose of visit, ensuring up-to-date and comprehensive records are maintained at all times.

· Monitoring Security: keeping an eye on security cameras and respond swiftly to any unusual activity or security concerns, coordinating with estate management or external security services as necessary to ensure safety and confidentiality.

· Supporting Business Development: Provide administrative support for estate projects, generating new leads for the business.

· General Administrative Duties: Answer phone calls, manage incoming mail and emails, organise documents, and perform other clerical tasks as required by the estate manager or business team.

· Ordering Materials: Manage the procurement process for supplies, equipment, and materials needed for the estate, liaising with suppliers, processing orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.

Required Skills and Qualities

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.

· High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

· Competence with office technology, including computers, cameras, and basic security systems.

· Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a willingness to contribute to the estate's success.

Desirable Experience

· Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or security-related role.

· Familiarity with private estates.

· Basic procurement or purchasing experience is of value, but not necessary.

Working Hours and Conditions

· Full-time position, working 07:00-15:00 with potential for weekend shifts.

· Professional attire expected; confidentiality and discretion are paramount at all times.
