Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our client's team as an Accounts Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing junior team members while maintaining and nurturing relationships with our larger clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee junior team members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
3. Work closely with senior management to develop strategies for client retention and growth.
4. Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other client deliverables with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the firm to enhance efficiency and client service.
6. Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice to clients.
7. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other firm events as required.
8. Work closely with a team of three client managers and a couple of bookkeepers.
9. Take full ownership of larger client accounts, going beyond FRS105.
