What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a small team of food managers to oversee the grocery shop floor in one of our supermarkets.
* Execute engaging trading events by collaborating closely with the store leadership team, especially during peak seasons like Christmas or Easter, to ensure success.
* Take full accountability for the store in the absence of a store manager, role model high standards, and coach for efficiency across the food hall.
* Manage compliance with processes and safety protocols while fostering a passion for excellent shopkeeping and creating fantastic shopping experiences.
* Responsible for a large team, ensuring they perform at their best, are present on the shop floor when needed, and that all people-related matters are handled properly, including celebrating successes and managing difficult situations.
