Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in hairdressing, customer service, and store management. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while ensuring an outstanding experience for our clients. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, perming and styling to meet client needs
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and products are sanitised and well-kept
* Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments
* Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations
* Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon profitability
* Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive salon atmosphere
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry
* Strong skills in barbering techniques and hairdressing services/ barbering not essential but must be comfortable cutting male clients
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
* Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly and listen attentively to client needs
* Experience in store management is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction
* Ability to work solo and key holder position
