Infrastructure Engineer – Temporary Type: Full-time, Temporary Salary: £25-30 per hour Elevation Tech & Transformation are working with a well-established and growing construction business in Driffield who are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, initially on a temporary basis to support the business while they recruit for a permanent hire. There is potential for the role to extend or become permanent for the right candidate. You'll play a key role in keeping IT systems running smoothly, providing 3rd line support, and supporting infrastructure improvements. This hands-on role involves both on-premises and cloud systems, ensuring stability, security, and scalability across the business. Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments Support Windows and Nix servers, storage, and virtualisation platforms Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and system performance Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, and SQL environments Provide 3rd line support and resolve complex technical issues Maintain IT documentation and processes in line with ITIL standards Skills & Experience Required: Strong knowledge of networking, cloud, domain services, and endpoint protection Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SQL, and Mimecast Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence This is a great chance to step into a busy IT team, make an impact quickly, and work with a company that values your expertise.
