HomeServe is recruiting for directly employed Plumbing Engineers to join our team. As a Plumbing Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of plumbing systems in our customers' homes, provide industry‑leading service, and help to enhance our reputation while driving customer growth. To help you settle into your career at HomeServe, you will participate in our extensive training programme.
Responsibilities
The induction and early training will include the following:
* Week 1 – Attend our Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday, cover all things HomeServe, health and safety, and receive your tools and equipment.
* Week 2 – Be buddy‑up with an experienced HomeServe Plumbing Engineer.
* Where geographically appropriate, we will pay for your accommodation and meal allowance during induction.
Qualifications
* Level 2 in Plumbing (copies of certificates must be provided).
* Experience with 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
* Experience working as a plumber in domestic housing.
* Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proactive, "can do" attitude.
* Keen eye for detail and problem‑solving skills.
Job Details
* Location: Chelmsford
* Full Time – 40 hours per week, including some weekend, evening and bank holiday work.
* Salary: £40,720 – £44,120 (salary dependent upon experience) plus a £3,000 guaranteed bonus in the first year.
