POSITION SUMMARY:
The Residency Counselor ensures a positive, professional image to prospective residents and their families, representing the community throughout the sales process to meet or exceed sales and census goals.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Handle inquiries professionally and promptly.
* Manage the sales process from inquiry to deposit and move-in, developing relationships with prospects and influencers.
* Maintain ongoing contact via phone, email, visits, tours, and home visits as appropriate.
* Advise prospects, depositors, families, and influencers about community features, services, and housing options.
* Record all communication with prospects in the lead management system.
* Be knowledgeable about marketing materials, residency contracts, community amenities, and services.
* Understand and communicate financial qualifying requirements and occupancy conditions.
* Participate in community marketing events.
* Coordinate communication with team members to facilitate sales and move-in.
* Contribute to sales strategy development and research.
* Achieve sales and occupancy goals set by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
* Meet lead contact goals, including scheduling and follow-up.
* Maintain positive relationships with team members and keep work areas presentable.
* Attend work regularly; flexible hours including weekends and evenings may be required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* 2-3 years in a medium-sized office; proficient in Microsoft Office 365; ability to learn sales and financial software.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 3-5 years in a similar operation.
