Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual to join us as a Creative Support Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your creativity to develop and implement personalized support plans that promote independence, well-being, and community integration for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement creative support plans that reflect the unique strengths, interests, and aspirations of each client
* Use arts-based activities, creative expression, and other innovative approaches to engage and motivate clients
* Provide practical and emotional support to clients in their daily lives, including assistance with personal care, household tasks, and social activities
* Foster positive relationships with clients, promoting a sense of belonging, dignity, and self-worth
* Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for clients
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a support role, preferably working with individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or other complex needs
* Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
