We arelooking to strengthen our Delivery team with an Apprentice Site Supervisor based within the Severn Trent Water region.
You will report directly to the Construction Manager and you will start your journey on one of our construction sites where you will gain experience and on-site training in the management and construction of one of our projects. Throughout the programme you will have the opportunity to work on all stages of the project.

To continue with our growth plans for 2024 and beyond we are searching for a potential Apprentice Site Supervisor to join our apprenticeship scheme. We have an opportunity working alongside multi-discipline engineering site teams at a multitude of client sites throughout the Severn Trent Water region as well as alongside our design teams at regional offices.
Working on various regional sites you will support the project & site delivery teams in the following areas:
* Assisting the site/project team to help drive projects forward.
* Assisting setting out of new site structures and management of site operations, to ensure safety, quality, cost effectiveness, timely production and customer satisfaction.
* Involved in the writing of, reviewing and briefing method statements and risk assessments, and assisting procuring sub-contractor, labour, plant and material resources.
* Ensuring actions are carried out at the right time, by the right people and to a controlled budget.
* Developing key relationships with site teams, client staff, design teams, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders

Qualifications required to apply: An interview with College will be required and the successful candidate must have at least one of the following: Level 3 qualification with an overall grade equivalent of "Merit". This could be a Level 3 qualification in Construction or construction-related field, three A-Levels in relevant subjects or Level 3 in Engineering. An international equivalent of the above is also accepted. Relevant work/industrial experience of five years (Full-time). If this work experience is not supported by education qualifications such as GCSEs then a minimum proficiency in Maths and English at Level 2 need to be evidenced. Successful candidates will need to have: Flexibility - flexible and willing to spend time in different offices and sites throughout the region. This is to gain a full understanding of new projects and different clients, which will provide fresh experiences and support your development. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal are essential, and you must be able to work well within a team and independently. Strong work ethic - self – motivated, flexible, and reliable with good problem-solving skills. You will also have a strong client service focus and excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task. Excellent computer skills - a good understanding of Microsoft Office is essential. Candidates will also need to have a full UK driving license to enable them to get to site daily.
