Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: South of Manchester
Shift Pattern: Rotating 3-shift system (Days: 6am–2pm; Back Shift : 2pm–10pm; Nights: 10pm–6am)

The Role
Join this dynamic business as a key player in their Engineering team. You’ll maintain critical equipment at their advanced South Manchester site, directly impacting operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence:
Resolve breakdowns with a "fix first time" mentality
Deliver planned/reactive maintenance using CMMS systems
Lead shift handovers and collaborate with production teams
Continuous Improvement:
Drive reliability projects and root-cause analysis
Implement efficiency/safety upgrades
Compliance:
Maintain strict H&S/quality standards and documentation
Team Support:
Train operational staff and provide cross-shift coverage
Your Profile
Essential:
NVQ Level 3+ in Electrical/Multi-Skilled Engineering
5+ years’ FMCG experience (food/beverage ideal)
Strong electrical bias with mechanical aptitude
Desirable:
HNC/HND Engineering
Automated processing equipment expertise
