Job Responsibilities
1. Operational Management:
* Supervising Daily Operations : Ensuring smooth workflow, managing staff schedules, and overseeing the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
* Quality Control : Maintaining consistent standards for coffee preparation, beverage quality, and customer service.
* Inventory Management : Ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Equipment Maintenance : Monitoring equipment performance, scheduling maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth operations.
2. Staff Development and Training:
* Training : Conducting barista training sessions, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and knowledgeable team.
* Mentorship : Offering support and guidance to baristas, helping them improve their skills and performance.
* Performance Management : Providing feedback, addressing performance issues, and contributing to the overall development of the team.
3. Customer Service and Relations:
* Customer Engagement : Ensuring positive customer interactions, handling complaints effectively, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere.
* Product Knowledge : Staying updated on menu items, coffee trends, and brewing techniques to assist customers and educate them about coffee.
* Problem Solving : Resolving customer issues and complaints related to quality, service, or other concerns.
4. Creativity and Innovation:
* Menu Development : Contributing to the development of new coffee drinks, seasonal specials, or other menu items.
* Process Improvement : Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve quality, and streamline operations.
5. Leadership and Communication:
* Setting the Tone : Leading by example, demonstrating passion for coffee and customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.
* Effective Communication : Communicating clearly with staff, management, and customers.
6. Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company
Job Requirements:
* With at least 6 years of F&B working experience in restaurant
* Passionate about providing efficient and friendly service standards
* Outgoing personality and highly motivated and takes initiative
* Positive and motivated to work in a fast-pace work environment
* Prefers to hold a recognised Basic food hygiene certification
* Clean and hygienic in food and beverage handling
* Able to work as a team with fellow colleagues
* Able to work weekends and public holidays
