We are seeking an organised, personable and highly capable School Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a pivotal role at the centre of school life, where no two days are the same and your work makes a real difference to children, families and staff.
Our school office is the first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing a warm, professional welcome, who thrives in a busy environment, and who brings calm, good judgement and attention to detail to everything they do.

Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week (full day on Friday. Others hours to be discussed)

About us
Ash Hill Primary School is in the Micklefield area of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The youngest children at our school are 3 years old (Nursery class), and the oldest are eleven (Year 6). There are approximately 210 children at Ash Hill altogether.
The Nursery is housed in the on-site Children's Centre. The centre provides a range of services and activities for families in the area. Ash Hill is a happy school, and everyone works together to ensure that the children are safe and well looked after, and that they all receive an education which enables them to meet their full potential.

About the role
As School Administrator, you will:
5. Be the friendly and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies
6. Provide high-quality administrative support to the Headteacher, leadership team and wider school
7. Manage a wide range of administrative systems including SIMS and ParentMail
8. Support statutory processes, including preparation of school census information
9. Assist with financial administration, including payments and monitoring
10. Support safeguarding processes, including DBS checks and confidentiality of records
11. Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy school office
This role requires excellent organisation, strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to prioritise effectively while remaining approachable and calm.
