Level 3 Teaching Assistant Needed in Wimbledon

A warm and welcoming Church of England primary school is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. About the Role
You will work under the direction of the class teacher and leadership team to support children’s learning, development and welfare across the school. The role includes:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Supporting pupils with a range of learning, social and emotional needs
* Assisting with classroom preparation, organisation and displays
* Helping pupils to access learning and follow instructions confidently
* Encouraging independence, positive behaviour and engagement
* Contributing to the school’s caring and inclusive environment
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (Early Years or Childcare qualifications also welcomed)
* Experience working in a school or nursery setting
* A warm, positive and professional approach
* Strong communication skills with pupils, staff and families
* Ability to support children with a range of needs (academic, emotional, behavioural)
* Commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing and equal access for all pupils
* Someone who is happy working in line with the school’s Christian ethos

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
