BJ174 – Warehouse Supervisor Location: Bristol Salary : £27,810 Per Annum Working Hours: 39 hours per week, 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 4.00pm on Fridays. Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Bristol. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise, coach and motivate warehouse and trade counter staff to maintain high standards of performance, accuracy and conduct Allocate daily tasks and workloads to ensure priorities are met efficiently Monitor individual and team performance, identifying training or development needs and escalating concerns where appropriate Lead by example, promoting a positive, professional and customer-focused culture Ensure customer and branch orders are picked, checked and despatched accurately and on time Provide a high standard of service to trade and retail customers at the counter Ensure outgoing pallets are stacked safely and securely to minimise damage and breakages Manage customer and internal returns in line with company processes Identify slow-moving, damaged or discontinued stock and recommend items for clearance Ensure company property, including stock and equipment, is used and maintained correctly Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse and trade counter at all times Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, including manual handling and equipment use Report accidents, near misses, hazards or unsafe practices promptly Ensure staff follow safe systems of work and company policies Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (supervisory experience desirable) Good working knowledge of warehouse systems or ERP software Strong understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse setting BJ174 – Warehouse Supervisor Location : Bristol Salary: £27,810 Per Annum Working Hours : 39 hours per week, 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 4.00pm on Fridays.
