Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Band 6 RMN to be part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team working within the Community Forensic Mental Health Service (CFMHS).
What you will do:
The post-holder will be responsible for delivering care to Mentally Disordered Offenders in a variety of settings including Court, Prison and the Community. Providing safe, recovery focused and rights based, effective clinical practice underpinned by risk assessment and risk management.
As part of the Multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will ensure effective relationships with a range of key professionals and agencies including Prisons, Courts and Justice Social Work as well as voluntary and private organisations, to ensure the delivery of effective high quality forensic mental health service.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Applicant’s should be motivated and keen to further progress/support service and be an excellent communicator. Previous Forensic experiences would be advantageous but not essential.
The successful applicant will be based at the Horseshoe building, Ayrshire Central hospital, however the CFMHT offers a PAN Ayrshire service. Driver and access to car with full license would therefore be essential.
