We also offer an innovative range of site safety products.
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Area Sales Manager to join our team at Ockwells. You’ll establish and retain new business relationships, grow targeted accounts and partner with national accounts on larger projects.
What you'll be doing:
* Develop and maintain targeted accounts within your geographic patch.
* Drive sales of core products and spot opportunities for new products.
* Research, target, cultivate and open new accounts with profitable growth.
* Convert branch and supplier leads into orders; liaise closely with suppliers.
* Track projects and monitor competitor activity, reporting insights to line managers.
* Conduct external customer calls and maintain strong relationships.
* Use mandated CRM and platforms such as Showpad to keep pipelines current
What you'll have:
* Proven sales experience with strong commercial awareness.
* Self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
* Strong organisational abilities and customer service orientation.
* Good numeracy, IT skills, and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of products and competitors (preferred).
