We are looking to recruit an outstanding Behaviour Mentor to join our fantastic and enthusiastic team. We seek individuals with a genuine passion for working in a learning environment with complex but rewarding children. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals, taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals or groups, monitoring pupils, and recording and reporting on their achievement, progress, and development. The successful candidates will demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of all pupils, including using effective behaviour regulation strategies consistently in line with the school’s policy and procedures. The school is recruiting a Young Offender Behaviour Mentor to work with young people aged 11 to 16 who are receiving their education in a Pupil Referral Unit setting. This role offers an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and support their access to education. You will provide guidance and support both in the classroom and with their social and emotional development.

The desired Young Offender Behaviour Mentor will:

* Have relevant experience working with young offenders and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues
