We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of ICT to join our Business and ICT faculty. The post could suit an NQT as well as candidates who are either successful and experienced teachers looking for a change in role, or those who currently work as successful tutors in a secondary school setting. Individuals who are currently studying for a degree or post graduate qualifications in ICT are also welcome to apply. We would welcome applications looking for a full-time position.

Colonel Frank Seely Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.

Colonel Frank Seely Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-18 secondary school with sixth form, situated in Calverton, Nottingham. There are 998 students on the school roll, 101 of whom are in the sixth form.

The school was opened in 1957 in memory of Colonel Frank Seely, who was widely known for his philanthropic work in Nottinghamshire through convalescent homes and Nottinghamshire Social Services. The school holds several awards in recognition of its work, including Investors in People and Green Flag Eco-school.

Colonel Frank Seely Academy is working in partnership with The Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill Teaching School Alliance and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and the chance to work alongside other high performing schools in the region. Colonely Frank Seely became an academy, sponsored by The Redhill Academy Trust, on 1 October 2017.

"The lively range of subjects and topics supports students' personal development well and is enriched by a good range of trips and visits and activities beyond school. Students achieve well. Attainment is well above average by the end of Year 11 and students make good progress. Senior leaders have created a demanding but supportive professional climate in school. Staff respond positively to the high expectations set for their work."
