The role
We are looking for an innovative individual to join our team to develop, launch, and enhance products within the Prepared and B2B categories. The focus is on creating new offerings and improving existing products to meet our customers' diverse needs.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate across functions to develop products based on customer briefs and our product strategy
* Manage and coordinate the NPD process for B2B customers, including development, feasibility, customer presentation, costings, review, and launch
* Participate in Prepared NPD meetings, contributing insights and updates
* Maintain knowledge of ingredient and cuisine trends, kitchen/recipe development, and sustainable packaging solutions
* Assist and coordinate factory trials for new processes and long-term projects
* Showcase Branston’s foodie credentials by creating great lunches for customer visits and demonstrating our products and innovations
* Support other customers or categories as needed
Candidate requirements
* A passion for food, innovation, and working in a fast-paced environment
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Preferably a food industry qualification such as HACCP or Food Safety
* A proactive, can-do attitude
