The Role
Sport North East is looking for confident and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to join our team. We are looking for Coaches who are able to lead sessions of a variety of sports, activities, and games for children aged 5-13 years. Support and training will be given, to ensure sessions are delivered to a high standard.
This work will occur within our Holiday Club, running throughout the summer and half-terms. As we expand the company, we are also looking for Coaches who can deliver after-school clubs at local primary schools (although this is not essential right now).
Roles and Responsibilities of a Coach include, but are not limited to:
* Planning and delivering activity sessions in a variety of sports
* Adapting sessions to ensure children of all abilities are able to engage
* Promoting good behaviour, positive attitudes, and teamwork among children
* Working as part of a team
* Attendance of occasional additional training, such as first-aid and safeguarding
* Supporting children with general day-to-day tasks.
Hours are flexible to suit candidates needs. Applicants must have a DBS to apply.

Sport North East is a popular holiday club, based in Newcastle. We run our camps in all school holidays, including 6 weeks over summer, caring for up to 60 children each day.

* Enhanced DBS (required)
* First Aid Certification (preferred)
