Overview

Workplace Concierge role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. This position is based at Crawley, supporting Thales on site. 40 hours per week. Hourly rate: £12.21 (NMW).


Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for Thales at Crawley, ensuring a professional, efficient and customer-focused environment.
* Support all areas of Front of House as required, including Reception, Meeting Room & Floor Management, Administration, hosting visitors, escorting duties and hospitality/refreshment requests.
* Liaise with the Mitie FM and Thales Key Stakeholders daily to communicate visit requirements and issue pre-meeting information.
* Ensure meeting room setup, presentation equipment and content are available for meetings; coordinate with Mitie FM and Thales IT teams as needed.
* Organise, prepare and communicate details for key meetings and special events to Mitie FM and Key Stakeholders.
* Engage with the team to identify specific meeting requirements including refreshments; liaise with local Thales catering as required.
* Ensure sign-in/out processes are followed and correct visitor passes are issued and returned.
* Deliver a 5-star customer experience for all visitors; provide exceptional service, guidance and assistance to ensure a great on-site visit.
* Capture and act on feedback from visits as appropriate.
* Support the TCW Site & Logistics Manager with site-related facilities management issues and feed into the FM team.
* Build professional relationships with key stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs; be recognised as the first line “go to” person.
* Attend training and engage in ongoing development as appropriate.
* Handle guest complaints with swift solutions or escalation as needed.
* Maintain impeccable appearance and act as the on-site customer experience contact.
* Acquire knowledge of on-site services to advise customers in line with their needs.
* Review and update standard operating procedures; ensure meeting, conferencing and event spaces are kept to defined standards with daily checks.
* Collaborate with Mitie FM, engineering and cleaning teams to identify issues or faults and raise via the Mitie Helpdesk.
* Work with the catering team to ensure hospitality orders are quoted, approved, delivered on time and collected efficiently.
* Notify Crawley Site Lead and Mitie FM of accidents, incidents, hazards and near-misses; provide operational support to internal events. Review procedures and propose improvements to support contract innovation.
* Ensure compliance with any COVID-19 processes and manage risks, ensuring a safe working environment.
