Job Description
Financial Planning & Analysis
3. Build and maintain financial models to support monthly forecasts, quarterly guidance, and annual budgets.
4. Provide insight into sales, margins, and overheads to support strategic decision-making.
5. Partner with senior leadership to deliver accurate, data-driven analysis.
6. Conduct scenario planning and "what-if" analysis to assess the impact of business changes.
Month-End & Reporting
7. Support the Controller in month-end close activities and ensure compliance with corporate and SOX controls.
8. Review journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
9. Assist with the preparation of management reports and commentary for senior stakeholders.
Costing & Manufacturing Support
10. Analyse product costing, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and Work Centre data.
11. Support labour and overhead rate reviews and process improvements within manufacturing.
12. Partner closely with operations to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
The Successful Applicant
13. Newly qualified or finalist (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or equivalent.
14. Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial finance (desirable).
15. Strong Excel skills, with exposure to ERP systems; Power BI experience advantageous.
16. Solid understanding of standard costing and management accounting principles.
17. Analytical and commercially minded, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
18. Strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across departments.
19. High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
20. Organised and resilient, able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing setting.
