The theatre department at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital has 15 theatres and 1 endoscopy room and is currently expanding.
We now have opportunities to join our Theatre Assistant Team due to promotion and development of existing staff. This role is essential for the effective running of the Peri-operative Department. As a Theatre Assistant, you will support Registered Practitioners in various aspects of clinical care to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. You must be willing to work across 6 days per week, including overnight and weekend on-call shifts.
You should demonstrate a keen interest in this area and understand what the role entails. You must be willing to learn, possibly possessing an SVQ in Healthcare or willing to study towards it. Physical fitness and excellent communication skills are also required.
Upon completing competencies, you will progress to a band 3 position.
