Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing Birmingham Hybrid
We are partnering with a well-established and growing organisation seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives supporting clients across the public sector.
This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing projects, delivering high-value commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations and best practice.
You will play a key role in developing category strategies, leading competitive tender processes and building strong supplier partnerships while delivering measurable commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end sourcing and tender processes across multiple spend categories
Develop and implement procurement and category strategies
Negotiate commercial agreements delivering value and managing risk
Build strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders
Provide management and leadership to sourcing specialists and buyers
We're looking for someone who:
Has strong experience in strategic sourcing / procurement / category management
Has knowledge of public sector procurement and regulations
Brings management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a team
Is experienced in RFPs, tender processes and complex contract negotiations
