Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
* Extensive experience in delivering business intelligence within the Estates/Facilities Management field.
* Proven track record of maintaining market knowledge and conducting external benchmarking.
* Successful in driving value for money and quality improvements.
* Experience working with estate-related systems such as CAFM, BMS, BIM, IoT.
* Ability to identify trends, investigate underlying causes, address issues, highlight concerns, and identify best practices.
* Skilled in presenting clear and concise information to diverse audiences.
* Comfortable presenting findings to internal, external, and client stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels in a client-facing role.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to deliver analytical data and reports aligned with contract requirements.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Hold or ability to obtain security clearance.
* Membership in relevant professional bodies such as IWFM, CIBSE, RICS.
* Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Familiarity with PowerBI.
* Knowledge of Concept Evolution.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
The BI & MI Lead Manager will report to the Account Director and ensure all services are delivered timely, within budget, and meet contractual obligations. They will foster a culture of strategic insight, continuously seeking new insights, evolving data collection, and reporting processes, and promoting continuous improvement.
They will develop an in-depth understanding of our client’s estate operations and business objectives, monitoring performance trends and activities across the business, benchmarking against the wider market, including hard and soft services, lease and property costs, energy, and construction/project initiatives.
The BI & MI Lead is responsible for management information, reporting, and business intelligence, working closely with the Integrator Business Intelligence team to provide insights on estate and asset management, supply chain performance, and financial trends across projects.
Collaborating with subject matter experts supporting the BI & MI function, they will produce insightful, commercially astute analysis for stakeholders, identifying potential issues early and providing well-researched recommendations to aid strategic and operational decisions.
They will own the analysis roadmap, improving the quality and delivery of analytic outputs, capabilities, and knowledge sharing. They are expected to deliver innovative, thorough, and commercially focused analysis projects to support strategic and operational decision-making.
The Lead will develop and ensure the use of appropriate data platforms and solutions, overseeing data governance, source integration, scenario analysis, and forecasting. They will lead the implementation of best practices in analytics, clear presentation of findings, and establish core analysis tools and data standards across the team.
Working with the Assurance Manager and Systems teams, they will ensure reporting accuracy and clarity, supporting project-specific analysis and broader benchmarking for continuous improvement and innovation.
